PVC windows in Imperia - Liguria

In Imperia, close to the sea, there was a specific requirement for windows that could guarantee a high level of living comfort.

The main objective of the project, called “Residenza Dante”, in the heart of Imperia, was to create homes with a very high level of town planning arrangement. The building, completely exposed to the South, required glass and windows that could guarantee just the right thermal exchange, this is why glass was installed to limit the quantity of incoming heat and guaratee, at the same time, winter comfort by avoiding dispersion as much as possible.

Right from the beginning, designers were faced with the problem of Liguria of water impermeability, as well as the structure starting with its foundations, with all of the characteristics in terms of "insulation:

An external as well as internal insulation structure was created. The building was fitted with a plant allowing for internal and external exchange of air every 2 to 3 hours.

Internal and external soundproofing was guaranteed by 3 insulating solutions: between the internal partitions, on the facades and with the PVC windows.
